Broncos, Rockies, Nuggets, Avalanche, Summit, and Mammoth Back Yes on 7A
Six of Colorado's professional sports teams endorsed Issue 7A today, backing daily passenger train service that would carry fans from across the Front Range to their front doors. The Denver Broncos, Colorado Rockies, Denver Nuggets, Colorado Avalanche, Denver Summit FC, and Colorado Mammoth all play near planned stops for the Colorado Connector passenger rail line.
The service would connect 12 communities from Fort Collins to Pueblo and make special event stops at the Broncos' proposed stadium at Burnham Yard and at Denver Summit FC's future home at Santa Fe Yards. Ball Arena and Coors Field sit a short walk from the train's Denver Union Station stop.
"Broncos Country stretches across Colorado and beyond," said Broncos President Damani Leech. "The Colorado Connector would provide fans with another convenient way to get to Broncos games while strengthening connections among communities throughout our state.”

Nearly 85% of Coloradans live along the Front Range, and today most of them can only get to a game by car. Issue 7A would support daily train service from Pueblo to Fort Collins, with up to 10 round trips a day, dropping riders within walking distance of Colorado’s professional sports teams and the restaurants, bars, and shops around them.
The teams join a growing coalition of community and business leaders backing 7A, including Denver Mayor Mike Johnston, Pueblo Mayor Heather Graham, Boulder Mayor Aaron Brockett, Westminster Mayor Claire Carmelia, the Colorado Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, the Greater Pueblo Chamber of Commerce, and the Colorado Springs Downtown Partnership.
